Elimination Diet - 

An elimination diet, also known as an exclusion diet, can be used to identify potential food intolerances and sensitivities. When we eat foods that are not right for us, we can cause imbalances within our gut, which can lead to weakened and damaged intestinal walls. This can then trigger the body's immune/inflammatory response. Several health conditions can be traced back to autoimmunity and inflammation, and thus, healing the gut can provide many health benefits. During an elimination diet, you will likely experience less bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, fatigue, and inflammation. From this group event, you will be given recipes and tools on how to successfully complete the diet, learn how to better read food labels, have the opportunity to try new foods, learn to listen to your body, strengthen your mind-gut connection, and have the support of fellow individuals going through the same diet as you!
